I'm a one man design and marketing team.
Hello there. My name’s Dylan – I’m 30, a huge nerd, and have been designing websites and doing the whole ‘digital marketing’ thing for over a decade. I work out of my home in Los Angeles, where I can usually be found at my keyboard with my dog, Charles (AKA Charlemagne, Charlie Mayne, Charlos) in my lap.
I started Veri in 2017 with the goal of empowering independent artists & small-to-medium sized businesses. I aim to do this by bringing them online, and offering a voice of reason in an ever-expanding world full of monthly services, apps and CRMs all trying to siphon as much money from you as they can.
Design & Business Philosophy
Good design is utilitarian, created with the user experience front and center. When someone finds their way to your website, it means they’re looking for something; the faster they can find it, the better. Bonus points if it’s not buried in text walls of hollow marketing jargon.
I’m a huge proponent of minimalism (if you couldn’t tell). Good photography or graphics with clear direction are a great way to draw users in, but could be a luxury depending on your industry. Regardless of your budget or assets, I’ll work with you to bring your ideas to life.
Money is less important to me than working with people I respect. I strongly resonate with honest, genuine voices that shine through the mediums they operate in – which is why I prefer working with hands-on self-starters who have strong, uncompromising visions. Our businesses should uplift each other while building rapport, relationships and community.
With all clients, I work with your best interest in mind – even if it hurts my bottom line in the short-term – because your success is my success, and I take more pride in that than a paycheck.
